We are always improving our systems This is what we have been working on lately:
- IPV6 - Customer DNS Services are now available, please look here for the settings.
- We have made some enhancements to the email filtering systems so that blocked email attachments (such as executable attachments), are now available if you need them by clicking a download link that is included with the blocked email notification. NOTE: if the attachment has spaces in its name you will need to 'cut and paste' the entire link into your web browser.
- We have recently added several free email enhancements, SafeNZ customers can now take advantage of fully "SSL" (scrambled/encrypted) POP and SMTP email services. Unlike some other ISP's we do not generally block access to our mail systems from other ISP's, all you need to do is set your email client to "authenticate" your outgoing email. Settings are available here. If you need help setting up your Email client (we support Outlook, Outlook Express and Thunderbird email clients), please give us a call on 0508SAFENZ (0508 723 369).
